30–40% Faster Time-toInsight for a Global HVAC Manufacturer

A leading global HVAC manufacturer was struggling with fragmented data spread across Oracle EBS, Astea Alliance ERP, Salesforce, LMS platforms, and several bespoke systems. This siloed environment created inconsistent reporting, redundant models, and limited agility, making it difficult for the business to respond quickly to evolving needs.

Calfus addressed these challenges by implementing a modern data lakehouse built on Microsoft Fabric, leveraging Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI. Structured and semi-structured data was consolidated into a centralized Azure Data Lake, with gold datasets created across procurement, sales, service, learning, and digital identity. To make insights more accessible, generative AI was embedded using Databricks’ GenAI stack, enabling natural language queries and empowering business users with intuitive, self-service access.

The transformation accelerated time-to-insight by 30–40%, standardized KPIs across business functions, and reduced IT costs significantly. With a scalable and governed platform now in place, the organization has gained a future-ready foundation for advanced analytics, operational efficiency, and enterprise-wide innovation.
