Abstract

RH is a curator of design, taste and style in the luxury lifestyle market. The Company offers collections through its retail galleries, sourcebooks, and online at RH.com, RHModern.RH.com, RHBabyandChild.RH.com, RHTEEN.RH.com and Waterworks.com. Calfus partnered with RH to execute migration of Core HR, Manager Self Service, Compensation, Goals , Performance, Recruiting, Learning, Talent and Succession HCM modules to Redwood UI, ensuring a seamless transition while retaining full functional capability and improving overall usability.

Objectives

Deliver a unified, modern, and visually engaging user experience across all major Oracle Fusion HCM modules by migrating from Classic and Responsive UI to Redwood UI. Ensure consistency, improved usability, and alignment with Oracle’s latest user experience standards. Upgrade to Redwood UI while still preserving the functionality across multiple HR Modules

Calfus Approach & Solution

  • Calfus executed a complete, one-time migration of all Oracle Fusion HCM modules to Redwood UI using the HCM Helper Tool and Oracle Visual Builder Studio. The team migrated configurations, validated data behavior and transitioned all existing customizations to align with Redwood design principles.
  • All major HCM functional areas including Core HR, Manager Self Service, Compensation, Goals , Performance, Recruiting, Learning, and Talent were migrated in a single-phase rollout, ensuring consistency across the enterprise and preserving the original functionality.
  • HCM Helper Tool was used to automate page conversion and validation, significantly reducing manual effort and rework. Visual Builder Studio was used to refine layouts with responsive components and standardize design patterns for a unified user experience.
  • Key users were engaged early to review, test, and adapt to the new Redwood design through guided training sessions.

Outcomes

  1. Unified and modern user experience across all HCM modules with Redwood UI consistency
  2. Preserved and improved functionality, ensuring all business processes continued to work seamlessly post-migration
  3. Positioned RH for long-term UX alignment with Oracle’s Redwood roadmap
