About the role

We are hiring a Sales Manager to own new business for our Enterprise Intelligence Agentic AI Platform in North America. This is a quota-carrying, full-cycle hunting role. Despite the title, it is an individual contributor seat with no direct reports today, and it is not an account-farming seat. Build the territory well and a team follows.

You will sell to VP and C-level buyers in regulated enterprises across financial services, insurance, manufacturing, supply chain and healthcare. These are buyers who have already run their experiments, been underwhelmed by copilots, and now want agentic AI in production with governance they can defend to an auditor. Your job is to find them, earn a real business conversation, and close the platform plus the implementation services that make it stick.

This is a stretch seat for the right person. We are hiring for trajectory rather than tenure, so you will get direct coaching from sales leadership, a solution architect on every technical call, and air cover from the founders in executive meetings. What we will not do is hand you a finished playbook.

Location: Pleasanton, CA or Redmond, WA

Reports to: VP, Business Development

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Carry and hit an annual new-bookings number across Agentic AI Platform subscription revenue and attached services in North America.
  • Build your own pipeline. We expect roughly half your qualified opportunities to be self-sourced through outbound, your existing network, partners and events. There is marketing support, but there is no lead firehose.
  • Run complex, multi-threaded cycles: typically, three to nine months, with five to fifteen stakeholders spanning business owners, IT, security, data governance, procurement and legal.
  • Turn a demo into a business case: workflow diagnosis, cost-to-serve math, cycle-time and accuracy gains, and an ROI model a CFO will sign.
  • Own the governance conversation. Be fluent enough on data residency, model risk, explainability, access control and SOC 2 to keep a deal moving without waiting for a solution architect on every call.
  • Scope pilots that convert. Work with solution architects and delivery leads to scope pilots that convert into production, not pilots that quietly expire.
  • Develop partner leverage. Build co-sell motion with hyperscalers, the Oracle, SAP and Salesforce ecosystems, and the consulting partners already sitting inside your target accounts.
  • Forecast with discipline. Keep an honest, current pipeline in CRM and hold quarterly commit accuracy within ten percent.

ON YOUR FIRST DAY, WE’D EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • 3 to 5 years in B2B technology sales, including at least two years selling enterprise SaaS or platform software to Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • A verifiable record of carrying and hitting a $1M or more. Be ready to walk through your last two years of attainment, deal by deal.
  • New logo wins at $100K ACV and above, including atleast one six figure deal you personally led end to end.
  • Experience selling in a services-led or hybrid model, where the deal is part software and part implementation, and where delivery credibility is part of the sale.
  • Working fluency in AI, automation or data platforms. You do not need to write code, but you should hold your own on agents, orchestration, integration patterns, evaluation, and where the technology genuinely breaks.
  • Command of a structured sales methodology (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, Challenger or equivalent) and the discipline to run it.
  • Experience at a company of comparable size and stage to Calfus, roughly 100 to 1,000 people, founder-led or growth stage. You are comfortable without a large marketing engine, a dedicated SDR pod, or a finished playbook.
  • Strong written communication. You can produce a crisp executive summary, a mutual action plan and a business case without a proposal team.

WE’D BE EXCITED IF YOU ALSO HAVE:

  • Sold agentic AI, intelligent automation, iPaaS, RPA or LLM tooling.
  • Deep vertical relationships in insurance, financial services, manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Co-selling experience inside the Oracle, SAP or Salesforce partner ecosystems.
  • Built a territory from close to zero rather than inheriting a book.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • First 90 days: ramped on Agentic AI Platform, able to demo without support, territory and account plan approved, and 3x pipeline coverage under construction.
  • By month six: first new logo closed, a documented discovery narrative others can reuse, and at least one partner actively sourcing opportunities.
  • By month twelve: quota attained, a reference customer live in production and willing to talk, and enough pipeline to support next year’s number.

Compensation:

Salary range: Between $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year plus variable paid on bookings and uncapped on-target earnings. Pay is based on several factors including geographical locations but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
