Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Moveworks Consultant to design, build, and scale an enterprise-grade HR virtual agent using Moveworks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in conversational process design, compound actions, and custom plugin development, with hands-on experience integrating Moveworks with Workday and Concur APIs.
This role will partner closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to automate HR workflows, improve employee self-service, and deliver intelligent, end-to-end HR experiences.
What You’ll do:
Design and develop custom connectors for Moveworks to integrate with HR enterprise systems (e.g. Workday, Concur etc.).
Build and configure custom workflows, actions, and automations within Moveworks
Integrate enterprise systems using REST APIs and building custom plugins
Implement backend logic and data mappings to support conversational and agentic use cases
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting for custom integrations
Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and validate technical designs
Optimize agent performance, reliability, and security
Provide technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Support enhancements, bug fixes, and platform upgrades during the contract period.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
Core Skills
3+ years of experience implementing Moveworks solutions
Strong understanding of conversational AI, intent modeling, and dialog design
Hands-on experience with compound actions and workflow orchestration
Proven experience building custom plugins in Moveworks
Integration & Technical Skills
Hands-on integration experience with:
Workday APIs
Concur APIs
Strong REST API, JSON, and authentication (OAuth, tokens) knowledge
Experience with middleware or integration platforms (nice to have)
HR Domain Knowledge
Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle
Experience translating HR policies into automated workflows
Familiarity with enterprise HR data models and compliance requirements

Experience improving agent accuracy, containment, and analytics
Consulting background with stakeholder-facing delivery experience
Experience with identity systems (SSO, Azure AD)
Exposure to change management and adoption strategies
Experience with analytics, reporting, and agent performance tuning
Compensation:
Salary range: Between $110,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year. Pay is based on several factors including geographical locations but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
